Default Round holes in pak choi

This is our first year trying to grow much in our garden and this one has us stumped.

I've planted potatoes and down one side I planted some pak choi plants I started off in a greenhouse. The first night one pak choi was gone completely just leaving a little green stump. Over the next two weeks round holes appeared in the leaves on the others and they are gradually dwindling down [except one of them which seems to be ok].

Any ideas what is doing it? There's nothing near by that we can think of, we've not seen any slugs near by and nothing is attacking the potato plants.

Sounds like it could be slugs or snails. They hide during the day so it's difficult to find them. Hows about going out late one wet night with a torch and see who is eating it? (If it's dry, first water with a hose in the afternoon)

brassics are a total pain in the back side, they get munched by birds, caterpillars, slugs, snails beetles etc....and thats just the bugs which can put holes in the leaves

Sounds like slugs. They hide in the day and come out at night. Either check for slugs as it gets darker or put some slug pellets down.

We have started using a piece of board and lay this on the ground the slugs are all there in the morning and then we give them to the chickens
