Wink My Lunch box



well I thought I would tell you all how satisfied I am with me bait box I take to work each day. Now we are nearly in the season of plenty I'm setting off today with:

Lettuce - Home Grown
Raddish - Home Grown
Cuccumber- Home Grown
Spincahe- Home Grown
Spring Onions- Home Grown
2 eggs HB eggs from my chickens.

In short an Egg Salad all grown by me,

And I'll bet it tasted great!!! Well done Paul. Last week our town council, in there infinite wisdom has determined that we can't have chickens within town limits. Their reason was state regulations even though other towns in Iowa allow it . At least I still have a garden.

That sounds like a significant problem, beurocrats!

I'm hoping to get a few pigs soon, but i seriously don't expect to, although I'm having loads of fubn with growning stuff at the moment.

Theres absolutely no beating home grown food! I cant wait to have a full lunchbox of things grown in my garden! Good work and I hoped it tasted great! :-)

Yay! Good stuff. We have 3 chickens but u fear I am going off eggs as plain eggs! Ah well, lots of pancakes and omlettes with home grown veges for me then

There is nothing like a nice egg from you girls in the garden. Once you have had your own you'll never buy eggs from the supermarket again. We also have 4 girls and 4 eggs is a lot but we are managing - the son likes cakes so every other day make victoria sponge with homemade rhubarb jam. Or buns, or... I want to make sticky date pudding anyone got a recipe?

Probalbly one of those age old stupid rules.....I bet you're allowed an allagator or some other dangereous breed though
