Default Courgettes - why only male flowers

This is the second year I have tried to grow courgettes, and am having the same problem I had last year - The plants are growing fine but are producing only male flowers. Could I have some advice on what I could do to help the plants produce a few female flowers please.

We find this sometimes happens in the early stages of the plants developement but the female flowers appear eventually.

Thanks, I hope you are right, last year we saw the same, and no females appeared at all :-( . I thought it might have something to do with the soil, which is compost rich, so sad to see a very vigorous plant with over a hundred male flowers and no courgettes.

They usually get female flowers in the end. I have never heard of a courgette only producing male flowers.Hope you have better luck this year.
