Default How are your fruiting plants doing with the bad weather?

Bah I hate the British summer!! My courgettes, dwarf cucumbers, strawberries and all of my cherry tomato plants have started to fruit then just stopped in there tracks.

Chilli's seem to be doing fine though... which is surprising, theyre growing faster than anything else!

Anyone else been having problems? I was really looking forwards to picking soon but I think it's a couple of weeks off now!

A cold snap certainly slows things down. Our blackcurrants, gooseberries and raspberries all fruited for longer than they did last year. Last year, when we had an even colder spell, which was in May, our tomatoes stopped growing entirely but got going again once things warmed up again.
