RHS Cardiff Spring Flower Show
The first major RHS flower show of the year begins on Friday in Cardiff. As well as the fabulous show gardens there will be beautiful floral displays, a school's planted wheelbarrow competition, nature trails, an owl sanctuary and a whole host of activities to keep gardeners of all ages entertained. RHS experts will be on hand to give help and advice on gardening problems.
One of the show gardens is titled 'Slugger Off!'. It is an organic, eco-friendly garden designed to keep slugs away without the need for slug pellets. It will be interesting to see the finished garden. RHS Cardiff Spring Flower Show Bute Park, Cardiff Castle, Cardiff. Friday 18th April - 10am - 5.30pm. Saturday 19th April - 10am - 5.30pm. Sunday 20th April - 10am - 4.30pm. Plant sell off commences at 4pm. Adults - £10. Children under 16 - Free.
