Take a 'Walk On The Wild Side' on Saturday when Birmingham Botanical Gardens hold a Conservation Day event packed full of information from the major UK conservation groups. You will be able to talk to specialist conservationists and learn about the work of the RSPB, the Birmingham & Black County Bat Group, the Butterfly Conservation, Dudley Zoological Gardens, Friends of the Earth, Hall Green Retired Greyhoud Trust, Send a Cow, Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary, and much more.
On the same day Birmingham Botanical Gardens are holding an Apple Day giving you the opportunity to sample English apples and also tour the Guinea Gardens Allotments. Walk On The Wild Side Birmingham Botanical Gardens & Glasshouses, Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham. Saturday 25th October - 11am - 4.30pm. Gardens are open from 9am. Adults - £5.50. Children Over 5 & Concessions - £3.50. Children Under 5 - Free.
