Potato Days are a great place for purchasing seed potatoes as there are a large number of potato varieties to choose from and you can usually purchase individual tubers which is perfect for kitchen gardeners.

Here is a list of potato days and also seed swaps taking place across the country in January.

Over 30 potato varieties. Volunteers from the Lancaster Apple Project will be at the event handing out local variety apple trees. Most are pre ordered but some will still be available on the day.

We will also be having a seed swap where you can bring along your excess seeds to swap with those we have saved at the gardens including heritage seeds and seeds from fellow growing enthusiasts.
There will also be growing tips, information, games, and recipes.
