Potato Days 2010

I've managed to find details of 25 days next year they're at www.potatoday.org/potatodays.htm

The best, of course, being the Hampshire Potato Day now in its 12th year on 30th & 30th Jan in Whitchurch - that is a completely unbiased opinion - 2,000 people agreed earlier this year - they can't all be wrong!

If you haven't tried one or heard of the idea, then the days all have one thing in common - you can buy potato seed by the individual tuber - so if you have a small plot or want to try something new then they are ideal. They all have experts on hand to help answer you queries and are friendly places where you tend to meet people of a similar frame of mind - they all grow or want to grow potatoes.

hi all, i have looked at the dates for of these potato days and there doesn,t seem to be any around cambridgeshire or the midlands apartfrom suffolk one on 13th feb which i cant make if anyone knows of any in these areas info would be appriceiated..

Hi Puffin, welcome to our forum!! Have you checked out the events on our 2010 calendar? I have been busy searching for relevant gardening events so there might be a suitable potato day listed. As it's only the start of January there will be more events and hopefully potato days to add to the calendar when societies confirm their 2010 dates.

the cambridgeshire self sufficiency group is running two potato days in cambridgshire the first is sunday 6th feb at hinching brook country park and the second at the stable room wandle bury ring on the 13th doors open 10.30 am
