Default Hello!

Hi all!

I'm new to this site and to gardening.

I have a little patch at work, and love it.

Have pumpkins, cucumbers, sweetcorn, peppers and carrots!

Wondering what to plant over the winter as I can't get on gardeners world website!

Hi Sarah!! Welcome to our forum!!

You could try over winter onions which will be ready next June, garlic or buy some over winter brassica plants such as purple sprouting broccoli and spring cabbage.

Ha ha ha sounds complicated!

I thought of garlic, but just need to get a rough idea what i need to buy, wondering if it might be better to fertlise and cover for the winter to get better soil condition for spring time?

Thank you very much!

Is it usually this slow?
Or is everyone out in their gardens and will be back in when everything is done?

Hi Sarah, it's just a bit quiet this bank holiday weekend. The best place to post your question is on the main forum in The Kitchen Veg Plot.
