Newbie in the house!!!!

Hey I`m Carl 18 from England, i am into gardening though i don`t do growing plants yet just mainly like cutting grass and watering flowers and vegetables, my mum grows em i brought myself a gardening book today though that teaches about growing vegetables and herbs.

My dad(god bless him) was into garden always kept his clean and so i have developed an interest into gardening because of my dad and because i want to keep HIS garden clean and tidy, though cutting the grass is a pain i must admit lol, you cut it and it grows back bout a week or two later, i have also done a bit of voluntery work for BBOWT.(going back tommorrow)
I like being out side cutting grass cutting trees shrubs etc that sort of thing.

Oh yer my dads brother has like been the main reason i have decided to take up gardening or hoping to anyway, because he spends alot of his time gardening, growing tomatoes,radishes(he gave me one he had grow fresh from the pot and it tasted nice even with a bit of dirt on it) onion, herbs etc.

He gave me some peppers and tomatoes to grow and because of this my mum decided to get a greenhouse and so we have grown radishes (tasted nasty,though i spose it`s the way of the noob lol) tomatoes atm are growing superbly, and peppers and lettuce is all good.

anyways soz for rambling. yer so basically i`m a nooby to gardening,i want to get my own tall green house(only have a small one) and start properly and take it up as an hobby.And mabey do other things like grow bonsai tress etc.

And i`m hoping you can help.

I know what you mean about your Dad. My Dad always grew the flowers for our garden and I grew the veggies but now I need to grow both - but I'm hopeless with flowers! This year I was rubbish! Ask your Uncle what variety the radish were because each variety is slightly different. I love growing vegetables and most are really easy to grow so I'm sure you will be a great veggie grower!!
