Hi
Not new to veg growing did it as a kid but that was a long time ago. My farther had 2 acre so as a child we got involved with growing veg chickens pig turkey and rabbits. I bet we grew well over 50 % as we use to freeze veg and that was a long time ago. I have been retired since 45 but went pack to work now fully retired 51. Started the veg garden up again fully this year loved it now I have the time. Forgot how good fresh veg tastes and to have veg in season. (worked in India for two years all the veg I ate there fresh and in season how we looked forward to each part of the season why do we have veg in the supermarkets out of season

). I have two greenhouses about ten by six plus main veg 10 m by 5 m but also have lots of other area to convert to veg plus getting chickens soon. This year grew potato, carrot, broard bean, runner bean, onion, cabbage, colly (dont they bolt fast) salad veg. To come I have leek, sprout, spring cabbage, purple brocly, parsnip welsh onion parsley, tyme, chives, rosmary, mint plus in greenhouse tomato (poor) coutget (fail) cucumber (fail 1 from 2 plants) obergine (fail only 2). So off to a good start outside. I think it is 7 weeks since we bought veg a

part from mushroon, turnip ,and leeks. I am looking for something to plant for spring I hate to see bare soil. Plus looking for an allotment for next year.
