HI All

Im new! :-) Im from africa, but currently live in London, and miss my Namibian veggies soooo much, im growing my nam veggies here in my garden!

Will bombard you guys with questions soon! ha ha

Hi Wednesday! Welcome to our forum!!

Are you growing the same veggies here that you would grow in Namibia? Are they growing okay because our weather is pretty dreadful compared to Africa!

Yeah im growing Gem squash, which cannot be found in the UK (as far as i know) They taste very good!!! I think its part of the pumkin family. They arent going so good right now. I posted in the pest forum with a picture to see what they look like.

I don't think you will find gem squashes in the shops here but you can grow them here. I quite fancy trying them as they are a climbing squash so don't take up as much ground as the trailing squashes plus they are a great colour!

l think it would be best to grow then in spring so it it can get the summer heat.

you may also want to invest in some kind of light heat depending on where you are living and when you start growing your garden.
