Thumbs up A Newbie!!!

Hello all I seem to be yet another addition to the world of growing my own veg ( or attempting to at least ) and all because my son has become a chef.
This summer ( ha ha ) we tried to grow some of our own with limited results, however the chickens have been brilliant, no more shop bought eggs.
However to try and improve our poor results i am investing in a greenhouse for the garden so as another newbie and if you dont mind, any advice would be warmly welcomed by the whole family, heres hoping anyway. I am most interested to know if there is anything that can should be grown from september onwards, also any advice on how to run the greenhouse, preferably on a budget would be nice.
thanks to you all in advance.
