Hi all, not much into computers and dont realy like forums but have been convinced by my son that i should join a gardening forum to ask for help and advice rather than sitting in libraries ready "musty old books" as he calls them
not realy got much to say about myself, im 42 going on 12 last year i tried to grow a few bits and bobs in old tyres and my green house didnt work out too bad got some potatoes, tomatoes, radishes and runner beans so this year as i am cutting down on the amount of chickens i have i decided to use half of thier area as a veg plot (yes i have blocked it off from them) its only about 25 foot square but to be honest im realy struggling with that amount of area what with the digging over and weed removal, i thought i was doing realy well managed to get 3/4 of it dug over and de-weeded but all this rain means it keeps clumping up just how are you supposed to get lovley fine soil when its all clumpy?

oh well i will ask questions another time.
