Talking Well Hello Everyone - Surrey/Sussex

Hey all,

Well im 21 and i've been into gardening for the last few years. My dad and I made an allotment in our garden last year and this will be our second year of harvest. The allotment is about 200m/sq. We did a huge amount of variety of veg last year and are trying fruit as well this year (which i will be asking about in another topic in a min)

Anyway, heres a list of what we're growing (to give ya'll an idea of what ill be asking about over the next however long) :

Wow... that's a HUGE list! Can I ask... do you grow the peppers, chilli peppers and aubergines under cover/ in a cloche/ greenhouse? I grew some peppers last year, but they didn't do too well and I'd like to know how other people grow them.

I live in East Sussex, so I guess the weather might be similar if you live in the Surrey/ Sussex area?

lol thanks. They all grow in a greenhouse (with a milion holes in it ) over the summer and I take them out the greenhouse and into the sun for the hottest month. They all go onto the bathroom window seal when it gets cold. I've never used food on them in the past, and they've done fine. Gonna try a bit of food this year tho

Thanks for letting me know... I don't have a greenhouse on my allotment, so I'm going to try and grow them under a cloche. Wish me luck!

Im sure they'll all be fine like that. Forgot to say, my aubergines are grown under glass outside. first time tho
