Plucking up the courage to say hello

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself since I've been lurking on the forums for about a week, looking for any hints or tips as there seems to be a wonderful variety of subjects and advise given to members here

My names Jo and I've been growing veg in containers in my garden for the past couple of years (basics like potatoes, carrots, peas, salads, radishes, tomatoes etc...) but earlier this year after waiting for months I finally got a lovely allotment plot... well half plot but I might be getting the other half of my plot due to lazy neighbours

I'm also still growing my usual in the garden and built myself a greenhouse this year so have lots more toms, cucumber, peppers and chilli's in there. As well as baskets of tumbler toms all over the garden (my little boy LOVES these and will be seen all summer loitering around the baskets picking the toms as soon as they ripen and popping them in his mouth lol.

Despite growing in containers in the past, I've never grown anything in the ground before other than flower type plants so this is a whole new learning curve for me and I'm soooooooo excited about it all.

I'm looking forward to sharing my experience with you all as you all seem to share my excitement for growing fruit and veg.. theres just no better taste in the world as freshly picked yummies
