Default hello from the notorious bettie sage

hello,fellow vegephiles, i accidentally found this site and had to join
i moved to this house almost two years ago and have looked out at a huge slope that resembles a land fill site ....but having found mydelf jobless have now had the time to terrace ,dig out shoes and bed springs and start growing

nice to be here

i havent got time to work now(not that there is any in this part of the country)..i intend being self sufficiant in veggies .....i also make vino and cook all the time ,the money saved makes jobseekers almost bearable

As one newbie (in veg gardens terms) to another hello!

Its sounds as if you have a major task on your hands there and my advice would be 'form a plan'

You don't necessarily have to stick to it 100% but it can save a lot of dispointment later when you get to the stage of;......'I wish I had done this rather than that'

I have written a little article on starting a new plot, OK it hinges around 'an allotment' but what you are planning sounds quite similar so you might be able to adapt it to suit your purpose.

So the best of luck with your project and don't hesitate to ask if you have any problems! There seems to be quite a knowledgeable lot using these forums so I am quite sure your questions will be answered, and if not fully answered I would imagine you will get some good opinions!
