Default Reintroduction - Mrs Dobby

As its been sooo long since I was a regular posting member on here (and I realised I never really posted a proper intro), I thought I'd best reintroduce myself!

I'm Suzanne, aka Mrs Dobby, Im 40 something years young (mental age more like 6), and work as a Superstore Manager for a large automotive accessory and bike retailer in the Northwest of England!

I'm married to a great guy, Lee (who will be 40 in August - so is officially my toyboy), and we have 2 plots on Moss View Alottment site in Partington, Manchester!

We originally took the plots over in 2006, when they were 8' deep in weeds, but with a bit of work they are now looking pretty good!

I enjoy photography, reading, GYOing (obviously), blogging (sad I know, but its all about the plots, honestly!), cooking, camping and being out in nature!

We are also beekeepers, with a total of 6 beehives now on the allotments (in 2 apiaries!)

My dream would to be able to go totally self sufficient, in an earth sheltered eco home, but planning permission at the moment means we couldnt afford to do it.. yet!

Anyhows, nice to meet you all, hope to make some firm friends soon!

Lol! No problem LJ, I'm sure most folks wouldnt know the difference between them anyhows, and having seen some of the other plots on our site looking sooo good, I'm not sure I can tell the difference myself! Lol!

Wink

Hi Husker, thanks for the rewelcome! Lol!

And thanks for the kind words about our allotments and the award, we weren't expecting to get anything really, as we've never done so before (despite having the plot for 4 years now), but its nice to have someone acknowledge the efforts we all put in!

Mind you, awards arent what matters, its the fresh, tasty, organic fruit n veg we grow thats the most important thing!
