Default Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone,

I've just joined because I want to start growing my own fruits and vegetables. This is basically because I'm worried about the freshness and chemicals used in supermarket fruit and veg, and I'm presuming this will work out a lot cheaper than buying organic food

So hi again, just looking to get some inspiration and advice, so will see you all around!

Well the initial set up costs will be a fair bit more than buying organic stuff depending on what you already have available but well worth it once its done
Welcome to the forum
Pacey

I think many will agree that satisfaction, taste and sense of achievement well out weigh any costs.

Hi Amy, and welcome . I agree with Pacey about the start-up cost, but the benefits of knowing just what you're eating and the quality of your own produce vs the grocery store are things that go a long way in offsetting that cost. It does get a little easier and maybe cheaper as you go too. Good luck with your growing.

Thanks for the welcomes

I'll admit I didn't really think about set up costs being that much, but I'll agree that I know it will be worth it, so I don't really mind
