Default Hello All

Just wanted to say Hi from a newbie gardner.

History:-
I started re-designing my back garden, totally changed it by designing decking outside of the conservatory, then built raised flower/vegatable beds, the lot.

Ground work - Even the dog got involved

Near completion

Started to buy plants for the decking and garden and whilst doing so got the urge to buy a small potting greenhouse.

Bought some unheated propogators and started to grow tomatoes, lettuces, carrots, onions, radish etc etc.

1st attempt ended in disaster as I was over watering, direct sunlight (no netting) and cheap modules that didn't have drainage holes!

2nd attempt.....success!!! 6 days ago things started to show and doing great. Amazing sight seeing the 1st seedlings poke through the compost under the propogators

Anyway, great to be part of the forum and looking forward to reading all the experts advise etc etc
