Default Hello

Hi,

I have just started to plant some edible plants on my windowsill few months back. I am planting sweet potato leaves in my old washing up bowl where my husband has helped to punched some holes before filling up with compost, and I have daun kesom as well, all these plants are popular ingredients in Asia. I have also brought from Ikea, mint and chive's growing pot. They have just started to sprout. My pansy pot has just started to sprout as well but they are very skinny despite my feeding every 2 weeks! Just in case members get confused, I now lives in London and not Asia.

I have a problem now with my sweet potato leaves. They are invaded by some insects that are tiny and look like ants but only in white colour. They lay eggs/lavae alot on the leaves. And they are eating up my leaves!

Can someone pleeeeease help me? I need advise what I can do to make them leave my plants alone!

Can some one please help!!

Hi Juisplanting, and welcome. It sounds like you may have aphids which can be taken care of with an insecticidal soap. A picture might help though. Glad to have you with us.
