Smile Nice to meet you All

Hello fellow forum members.

I have joined up to meet you all because I am going to need some serious help. I have been a part time small scale gardener for many years and have had minor success growing salads and a few peas and beans in pots in my tiny garden. I have now been lucky enough to move to live very close to the sea in a small town in Hampshire within sight of the Isle of Wight. We bought the house specifically for the garden which is huge and half of it is set aside as my vegetable patch..

I have big plans but I know its going to be a long job, if I get a tomato next summer I will be grateful. So I am going to be asking a lot of questions and hoping that those of you with experience will be able to help along a very enthusiastic newbie.

Because it is such a large project for me and lots of my friends where I used to live are interested, I have started a blog which I am updating every few days with all my little triumphs and progress in the garden. Please feel free to have a look and comment if you spot anything I can do to make my Veg Patch better

The Good Life - Well Maybe!

Thanks very much and heres to many happy hours reading all your entries..

Lorraine
