I have lemon verbena and chilli plants on my kitchen window ledge and I am fighting a losing battle with whitefly.
I have tried spraying them with a soapy spray which disperses them for about a minute but then they are back again. When I do a search on the internet for an organic way to be rid of them it just says to attract natural predators, but that isn't exactly feasible in my kitchen. Does anyone have any ideas as I grow the lemon verbena for tea and whitefly aren't a pleasant addition to my teapot |

try submerging in water for 24 hours plants will be ok but may drown fly
there is no truly organic way of totally eradicating white fly so you may be constantly wiping off the fly from the leaves |

You can buy an organic white fly killer spray made from plant extracts and also pesticide free sticky aphid fly papers that attract them. Garden centres should sell them and they are also on this link.
