Question caterpillars on brussel leaves

i noticed today that my brussel plants have hundreds of caterpillars on them what is the est thing to use to get rid of them before they totally destroy my plants .i grew some last year and didnt have a problem can someone help me please

Hi Tugster, I would pick the caterpillars off the plants by hand and check under the leaves for eggs. Next year cover the plants with netting that does not touch the leaves and this will stop the cabbage white butterfly laying it's eggs.
