Default rusty beans

Morning all
our beans(not sure what type)have gone rusty ive pasted picture

also courgete leaves have gone white and stopped producing fruit

any ideas cheers ash

Hi Ash, the beans as you said have bean rust and there is no cure but it shouldn't make any difference to the bean harvest. The courgette has a bad case of powdery mildew and again there is no cure. The courgette plant on the left looks passed it and I would dig it up and bin it. The plant to the right on the photo looks as if it is just starting to get powdery mildew and apparently you can spray with a solution of skimmed milk mixed with 9 parts water to lessen the attack. I've never tried this but I would give the right hand plant a spray with the milk mixture.
