Default White marks on my potatoes

I dug some potatoes up yesterday and they are covered in tiny pinprick white spots should i be worried i,ve never seen any thing like it on my potatoes before . are they the start of rot or something more sinister my allotment is very wet but not flooded.

The white spots will have been caused by the bad weather we are having. The potatoes should be fine though.

I've got them on mine too- I presumed they are fungal??
What in fact are they??

I too have white dots but they simply rub off my new pots when I clean them.

I wonder if it is Canker although I dont have any fungal growth at the base of the stems as I would expect.

Still taste great, I wouldn't worry about it..
