Default leaf hopper treatment

I think Ive got leaf hopper on my broad beans and basil on the window sill in the kitchen, how did they get in?

1 mm hair fine yellow to brown jumpy things, nasty!

I read on another site you can only really remove the leaves but too many are affected.

Anyone know what else works?

darn those jumpy blighters.

oh ideally a green organic solution is needed

Are they making holes in the leaves? If so look at the holes in my swiss chard plants and tell me does it look the same. Thanks Bw 43

I dont think thats the same unless they start as dry clear areas that then become holes. These buggers suck the moisture rather than eat the leaves.

looking at the chart of the post above I wonder if its catapillers?
