Hi there,
i am new at growing veg and am doing most of it in containers as my soil is not ready this year. I have had great big courgette plants sprout up but now they have lost their bright green colour and are going yellowy....i think one has definitely died!! I have 3 ideas; they dont have enough space? i put salt down to get rid of slugs and thats upset them? i havent fed them enough? I also put some of my garden soil in with my compost?? is that also a factor? Sorry thats a lot of questions but i dont want the other 2 to die!! I have fed them yesterday and they stil dont seem any better ![]() Please anyone help!! they havent been fed on by anything except one slug that has gone now....so i am very lost ![]() |

It's normal for some of the leaves to start dying off at this stage of the season.
This hasn't been a good courgette season, I think because of the weather. Mine haven't cropped well and lots of fruits have started to rot, though it hasn't been a complete disaster. I know other people have had poor crops too. Paul |
