Default Another one with White fly

Scanchas has already beat me to this topic but I will ellaborate on own.
I have clouds of Whitefly round my Brussels, what will be the likely outcome if not controlled? As I am into d.i.y solutions, could anyone tell me if they have a recipe for a White fly exterminator of their own? I don't mind using commercial ones but if it is possible to make my own with household products I will have a ready supply without having to keep trudging to the Garden Centre.
Thanks
Wingchun.

We've got Whitefly all over our cabbages, kale and brussels - you could try surrounding them with some enviromesh (you can buy it by the metre here - http://www.wmjames.co.uk/netting.htm ) but it's a bit of a pain to manage.

If you don't control them they will damage your plants and make them much more prone to viruses. You can buy spray for them, but eating veg with chemicals on sort of defeats the point of growing them yourself doesn't it?
