Hi Tim, powdery mildew is host specific so it will not affect all of your veggies. Powdery mildew is an airbourne fungus and it lives on the surface of the plant. Invariably on the allotment site my courgette and squash plants were usually affected but I didn't worry about it. It doesn't affect the fruit produced but you could try wiping the leaves with kitchen towel dipped into the skimmed milk mixture. The skimmed milk treatment is organic and has been studied across the world but I have never tried it. There are some other organic treatments that you could try.
