Default Need advise on what's attacking my veg

Hi,

Well first a few of my potato plants went from this

to

over night - just on night! Mind you the plants seems to be coming back on their own!

Also I have other veg that are being attacked.

I suppose my question is what's doing this and how do I stop it?

I prefer to avoid chemicals, I have hens, cat and a dog plus of course the kids .

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
The potato damage looks as though they have been nipped by frost. As you say they have recovered and should be ok now. The lettuce damage seems to be the work of slugs or snails.

There hasn't been any frost and it was one plant one night a few night later another one. The rest are fine other then a few that didn't come up at all!

I was thinking it might be a rabbit but I would expect more damage and I be surprise if an insert could eat the lot in one night but you never know. I'm not the expect hence why I'm here .

Jim
