Default Pepper leaves turning black

Hello, beginner gardener in need of some help!
Having never grown anything before, i decided to try my hand at growing some pepper plants.
All was going well until a few weeks after i transplanted them outside i started noticing black spots/stains apperaring on the underside of the leaves, over a short period they have gotten gradually worse and the black marks have spread to the front. could anybody help identifying what has happened to them? and are they doomed?

Thanks for the reply.
The problem is that the underside of pretty much every leaf has the black spots on now

Looks like some form of fungus maybe?

Maybe this will help: Pepper Growing Problems: Troubleshooting :: Harvest to Table
