Happy news all!
I managed to trap Peter Rabbit and relocate him about 10 km north of here. Dropped him/her off at a little grove of trees with a river, and nice farm land on all sides! Good Riddance I say. The little rodent has chewed my stag horn sumac to the wood, all my weigelas down to about 6 inches, my purple sand cherry and rose of sharon are both about half the size they used to be. It had started on my euonymous bushes too. I sprayed Plant Skydd on all my plants, baited the trap every day for a week with fresh carrots and Viola!! Now I just wait for the spring crop of bunnies I'm sure ![]() |

Hi, faith. Just come onto the site. Hope you're still checking it. Got the same problem. Did you use the repellent to "persuade" the rabbit to look elsewhere for food and then set the trap? Or did you just bait it and hope it preffered carrots to plants? Desperately needing a solution. All the best

Hi, mph. Yeah, I would have liked it stewed. Unfortunately our chefs prefer poncy food and we had it "fricaseed?".
If I get another one, I'll do it myself proper food!!I worked in a food-processing factory for 4 yrs., so, fortunately, I can tell if animals are diseased ![]() |

Hi, mph. Hope I didn't offend with the "poncy food" crack but it is
![]() I live in the New Forest and by and large, the connies are free from it. (but you have to check) Don't bother with the g-hound, get a "lurcher" they'll catch 'em ![]() |

Hi, Wd (again
)The layout of the place where I work doesn't allow for that. An area of 2 acres with no definate borders or boundarys. Ditches, banks and an open area to the front. Appreciate the advice but you can't protect the whole area. You have to catch the little bxxxxxxs in the open. ![]() |
