Default Moss and Veg

Hello all, can anyone help with my moss problem? I don't mind having it on the lawn but spend hours digging it out of my vegetable beds. Can I spray with Sulphate of Iron before planting out my veg? Or is moss an indication of something else happening in the soil?
Thanks in advance
Julie

Hi Julie, I'm no expert but won't Sulphate Of Iron turn the ground acidic?

found this link about sulphate of iron yes your right lesley but whats baffled me is another site i read is that 99% of moss likes acidic soil ????

http://www.shas.org.uk/whats-it-for/...-of-iron.shtml

So i am assuming the moss could be an indication your soil is too acidic
