One variety is enough for me: I go to Morocco for my annual vacation and buy veg seeds from the souk (market).
For about 25p I get a pack of seed equivalent to about 10 packets in UK.
I grow chilis but they are not named as the choices are very limited hence the low cost; I can buy imported seeds but then these are just as expensive as here.
The chilis are super hot and grow easily in an unheated greenhouse, even in the lousy weather we have been "enjoying" lately.
