The New Savings Section In The Potting Shed

Me and Lesley put our heads together and thought the that we'd try a sales & savings section on the site.

What we're envisioning here is a place where members themselves post links on deals, offers and savings they've seen either online or in their local area.

Whether it's coupon codes, or actual special offers and sales you've seen that the members here could benefit from. The core idea is it's run by you guys and whenever you post savings for others to see you'll probably be helping someone on vegetable-gardens.co.uk save a few pounds.

Acceptable Scenarios

1.) You see a cool auction or link on eBay and post or tell others about it. Either simply because you snagged a really good deal and want to share it with everyone else, or that it's a good deal and still available for others to avail.

2.) Argos is having a 25% sale on toys, or furniture or whatever! share it with the rest you never know they might be looking to buy some toys as presents for Christmas.

3.) There's a local offer in your local garden center which is extremely good. Post it here, someone reading might be from around your area and be able to benefit from it.

Rules for Posting

1.) When you post a deal, you must post the name of the shop, a link to the deal or offer, and if available when the offer ends.

2.) This is a savings area not a commercial section so NO AFFILIATE LINKS, or cheap plugs or anything like that! Just direct links to the sites. e.g. homebase, argos, eBay, whatever people use to buy stuff from.

3.) Before posting make sure no one else has already posted that offer or deal. Duplicate posts will be deleted and just make more work for us.

All in all this is a community run section meant for helping others within the community to save money.
