Hello there any ideas???

Plants were sown in January (late) and were initially grown indoors until 2 inches high, they were then transferred to a warmish minigreenhouse in a sheltered spot next to my house (south facing.)

About a month ago they were put into an unheated greenhouse for both night and day with a temperature variation of between 32c and 2c.

They were fed with diluted nettle tea about two weeks ago and normal tomato feed yesterday(to give them a boost.)

The compost was a little wetter than it should have been.

Over the past couple of weeks the underside of the leaves appears to have been "eaten away" leaving small 2-4mm patches on the top of the leaf. There are no signs of bugs, worms, spiders or any kind of visible pest on or around the plants.

I need some help from you good people here before I burn the lot and put three months of careful nuturing down down the drain.....

What is wrong with my plants???

it may be a mosaic virus but i cannot tell as colour in photos a bit blue

if it is then start again is the only option

you may have picked up a virus from the nettle tea or from the compost but this is just a guess

i suggest to be on the safe side you will need to burn the plants sorry

Yeap thats what I thought until I found pictures on a site in North America. It looks like it could leaf scald from the nettle tea that I watered them with. The photos on the American site are identical to mine and his plants continued to grow with a few leaves crumbling and falling off.

Fingers crossed!!!

it may just be sun scald thru the water on the plants if they are close to the sunny part of your greenhouse
