This plant survived the Winter in Zone 5. The first picture was taken in 2007 and the other two in 2008. I did add some wood chips over the plant. It will be interesting to see how this plant produces in 2008. I also have six seedlings now in the garden |

My first try at growing artichokes, I'm finding out its a huge plant. I planted two which have now outgrown their space
I harvested four nice chokes from one of the plants, I'm quessing the plant will produce 10 or 12 chokes this spring-early summer, but the other looks like it will not produce untill this Fall ![]() Here's a picture of the plant that is producing ![]() |
