Default Am I too late...

to start growing stuff in my greenhouse? I am interested in vegetables rather than flowers.....and have a greenhouse being delivered tomorrow.

What would you recommend?

buy or beg some toms sow cucumber sow some lettuce to plant out side soe melons sow perennials to plant out next year loads of stuff can be sown that will go outside if you are quick

only 6 x 6 ...... and I already have some staging etc. to put in it, so will be good to go on Saturday!

in that case put staging on the least sunny side and put cues and toms on floor down the other long side
you may need to shade if so put shading (plastic on a roll) outside this stops heat as well as light

are you in the south

Nope - the north

I live in Sheffield....our garden is south facing and gets full sun all day, with shade coming over from the top of the garden towards the house in the evening...

I plant to put it in the top corner, so it will be partially shaded from late afternoon....will that be ok?

i think it will be fine i was going to offer you some plants but you are too far away

you might wish to consider an automatic watering system which is grat to keep the plants growing and kep teperatures down

Ah thanks! Yes, they might not stand the postal system, ha ha!

Right, well thanks for your advice...I will look into the watering system but don't want to spend much more at this stage.
