Default These blimmin tomatoes will be the death of me!!

Ok - so after my panic about the leaves having brown patches, I think it was just sunburn as they seemed to recover.

Now they are all droopy and the leaves are curling up - but when I say curling [b]up[b] they are actually curling down!! They feel almost crispy so I haven't touched them too much in case they crumble!! the leaves certainly are very dry.....what on earth is wrong with them now???

They are well watered, the bottoms are not dry.

Could it be because i have moved them from my mini greenhouse to my "proper" greenhouse? Too hot do we think??

They have been in their pots about 3 weeks, the tumblers and gardeners delight are about 1 foot tall.....but not very bushy at all!!

The F1 Totems are only about 6 inches tall and quite bushy, they do not seem to be getting any taller, just fatter!

Hi Sue,

I've moved my tomato plants from their 'home' in my pots to their new 'home' in the bed of my greenhouse and they are doing well. I cut up an old drain pipe and put the segments of drainpipe into the tomato bed just by the roots of the plant. About 6 - 8 inches of the pipe exposed to the air. I fill these pipes up first thing in the morning with water and the plant takes what it needs and they are doing really well. I put feed once a week on the base of the plant. I was told that the top of the roots take the feed and the bottom of the roots take the water. All 8 of my plants got thicker stems before they got any great height. Moving them from one place to another shouldn't really make a blind bit of difference.

Hope that helps !
