Ok, well they perked up after my previous post, I think it was just the cold night we had the night before.
So - my F1 Totems are still very short, but starting to flower. Do I now pinch out the tops or leave them? Also, do I start to feed now they are flowering, or when they start to set fruit? My gardeners delight and tumblers are shooting up by the day, but no sign of flower. Do I need to do anything to these? Thanks ![]() |

Sue pinch out the growing tips when the plants are as tall as you want them with about six trusses of tomatoes formed. Only pinch out the growing tip of cordon tomato plants not bush tomato plants. Now the flowers are there start to feed the plants each week.

Thanks Lesley - they are all showing signs of flowers today
![]() Must say, as this is my first attempt at any kind of gardening, it's all going very well despite my extreme paranoia that they will drop dead at any minute!! |
