Question Peppers

Hi, We don't have much luck with peppers. Last year the plants didn't grow very much atall but there were loads of tiny peppers which by the time you chopped them up there wasn't much left. It seems the same thing is going to happen this year. We regularly water and feed everything on the allotment. Can anybody help? Many thanks.

peppers need to be under cover to do well so protect with polythene if out in the open and feed at every watering restrict the no of peppers to about 4 per plant

I had the same problem as you Evergreen when I grew peppers on the allotment. They grow so much better in the greenhouse or under cover as Malcolm said.
