Cool Tomato advice needed

My toms are doing very well from what I can see, I was advised to prune the side shoots when they are around two foot tall...but if I am right, then the side shoots are getting very big....

I would be grateful if someone could confirm if I am right on the side shoots and trusses.

1. Side shoot
2. Trusses

Many thanks

Hi Mclarke,

Basically any side shoot that has the start of flowers on them, you should leave well alone, as the fruits come after the flower falls off. The flowers usually come in sixes. three flowers each side. If the shoot just has leaves and no signs of fruits like the number 1 and the ones below then cut them.

Hope that helps

Paul
