Default More Tomato questions!

Ok, I have 3 tomato plants in individual 10" pots sitting on the sill in my conservatory. They are all circa 6" tall [and supported] at present.

I potted them last week, and they have made a little progress.

My problem [if it is a problem!]: The leaves are developing brown 'dried out' patches.

I'm worried!

I have high hopes for the tomatoes, but at this early stage I'm afraid I lose them.

Any advice?

Basically, Gemuse, the plants are too small for the pots. At the moment, what they are doing, is trying to fill the pot with roots at the expense of the topgrowth. You now need to be patient and hope they recover.

Ah I see.

Many thanks for that reply.

Fingers crossed then!

Talking

with all the hot weather, the leaves may be 'burning' as tempretures in the conservitory may be up to 10 - 15 degrees higher than outside.
Try moving them to a cooler but well lit spot.

I did think about that as well, as they are on the windowsill.

I'll get them down onto the floor and monitor them.

Thanks.
