Default broccili help

I have just transferred a few of my broccilli from the greenhouse into the ground, as they needed more space, the has been composited etc, but do the plants usually flop when you put them into the ground? They have just flopped down like they are dead, though when they were in the greenhouse they looked lovely, do they usually go like this when you first plant them into the ground? thanks.

You have to remember they were in a sheltered situation in the greenhouse, now they are outside in the winds and breezes. Did you water them in? This should help them.

Cool

Hi Wales,

Leave them get used to the open spaces !! a couple of days they will soon perk up. Like Dave says they have to get used to the breezes etc. It wount be long before the stems gain their stength and stand tall with no problems.
