Default Eggplant/Aubergine

Hi there - have sown some seeds this year for the first time (love them grilled on the bbq with a little olive oil and seasoning) but have never grown them before. The seedlings (8 of them) are about two inches high at the moment and have been on the sill in a loft window. They have their true leaves and looking very healthy. I have no idea of any tips to grow them successfully, and would appreciate any advice that anybody has who has grown them before. I'm assuming that they should be kept in the greenhouse? Any tips/help would be appreciated!

Thanks for that Waffly - very informative and answers my questions.

Re hating them - it took me a while to get to like them, and several tries. The way we have them is as grilled veges (with mushrooms, garlic cloves, zuchini/courgette, onion, mixed peppers) done in a basket on the bbq or in the oven in the winter months, with some mixed grilling herbs on them - they are lovely like that

They are the one veg that makes me well... want to visit the big white telephone in the bathroom and speak to my friend Hughie ;-) No matter how I've tried them (and I have tried, honest) they have the same effect. Shame - pretty coloured veg!
