Default Ideal temperature for propagator and seedbed?

Hi everyone

I have a question about what temperature I should have for seeds which have been planted/propagated indoors.

I've recently planted some seeds in a seedbed which I'm keeping on a windowsill in a bedroom (leeks, broccoli and brussels). I've also put a non-heated propagator, on the same windowsill, which contains some courgettes and sweetcorn.

The room is a west facing loft conversion and so gets pretty warm a sunny day. Today it reached around 25 centigrade, while the propagator was closer to 30 degrees. I also noticed a lot of condensation on the inside of the propagator. So, my questions are:

1) What is the maximum temperature which I would want in a room when I am trying to nurture seeds?
2) Should I worry that my propagator is 'sweating' a little bit.

Many thanks in advance

Chris
