Angry Uh oh - Potato Blight?....Holey Peppers?

Right - I've noticed a couple of issues with my spuds & my peppers!

First off - have I got blight?....well not me personally, but my potatoes:

Treat me gently....I know what the consequences can be

Secondly, I've noticed that a couple of my peppers in the green house have holes in - looks like an entry hole & an exit hole. Now all the reading that I've done states that nothing will go for peppers or chillis....so what's doing the drilling?

This is my first season growing having moved into this house in April, so I have no prior knowledge of the veg plot before this. The Potatoes are Desiree & there are also a few (maybe 5) random potato plants that have sprung up elsewhere on the plot - a couple of these are affected, but some of them are completely clean. Of my new crop, a good few plants have signs of this marking - all low down on the bottom leaves & more often than not on the east side of the plant, much less so on the west side (south facing garden - rows are planted north/south).

Hopefully thats enough info - ask away if you need anymore to help diagnose.

Thanks

Tom

the spots on the yellowing leaves look like magnesium deficiency, check the picture on this page, half way down

can't shed any light on the peppers tho, I also thought nothing would eat them....

I've just done some more quick searching about the potatoes, & it does look like it is most likely a magnesium definciency - but I will keep an eye on it...what does also concern me a little is that I looked at a UK blight map for this year & there is a case listed in my postcode - so it is around these parts.
