Default Pumpkins greeen, leaves yellowing...

Hi all

I have a pumpkin with two excellent-sized fruit on it, both still dark green. The leaves, however, are yellowing and dying - the plant looks like it's gasping its last. We're about to go away for two weeks.... What should I do? Leave them there? Cut them and bring them indoors? Give them up as a lost cause??

Don't know the variety I'm afraid - I bought it as a small plant.

Thanks!
Matt

may be its squash borers.
Have you spotted any white spots on the leaves? it can be a type of downy mildew or powdery . it can be treated by using a fungicide
