what new veg

just wondering, in my outside patch what can i plant, new to this and it's all a bit mad still, i do have a green house so i can grow from seedlings if needed.
help please?

Hi Greenie

at this time of year you should be able to start growing, broad beans outside, onion seeds inside, to be planted out later. and if your lucky you might be able to pick up some florence fennel plants or perpetual spinach from your local garden centre.

You may already have a full patch now but if not then now is the time for planting lettuce. Keep cutting them back and they keep growing and will save you a firtune in packet salads from the supermarket.

with the weather we have been having this winter I would be wary of planting anything much until later in March I don't think we have seen the end of winter yet
